Rain, Wind, Rain, Wind, Rain, Wind

Who can you blame for the weather
it who can beat you in the street
turning your own umbrella against you
streets strewn with the mangled wrecks of others,
Medusa heads and big red faces amuse
the smugness of commuters inside their sheltered machines
Pity you, so brave against it

Who can you blame for the weather
it who taunts you from your window tapping at it
like a human to a gibbon at the  zoo
A prison warden  gone mad,  disregards the rules
Spring is Winter and Autumn Summer
You’ve no chance you’ll never change it.
