I dance around the kitchen
and down the hall. 
Linoleum slides,
Balletic leaps
and jaunty shuffles
some body waves
a bit of hair shakin’
and hand clappin'
Nobody's watchin.

Just because I'm home
doesn't mean I'm not dancing
In the morning mostly
After silent sleeps and dreams of lovers
To T-Rex or the play list of a fancy store,
selling stuff I may never afford
but I'm not shopping, I'm dancing.
